Very nice app! If youre a weather geek then this is a must have app!

Ive had this app since the beginning and each update makes it faster and faster. It used to be slower and clunky. But not anymore! You can now adjust the speed of the map animation and this, along with the speed increase is the best new feature. While I wish the newer models werent an extra cost, its really not much money considering what you get. Id like to see the addition of more data like satellite and radar and maybe even more text products in the future. But as is, this app is great at what it does and I highly recommend it to those who need to access the weather models on their iPhone or iPad.

So I have had the app from the get go. It gets even better with each update! You have the ability to share on Facebook pages in addition to your personal profile and all sorts of new models. And the support is still OUTSTANDING. There are still things coming down the pike in future updates but it gets a big endorsement from me!

I had some extra money to throw around so I thought Id try out this app. I have one word that describes it: Disappointment. I am left in complete disbelief as to how much this app really costs. Dont let the low download cost fool you...because as others have said, more than half of the apps features are paywalled. This would be okay on one or two models. This app probably has more than seven. Absolutely not acceptable. Just to try it out, though, I decided to spend the ~$13 it takes to fully unlock the app after downloading. Disappointment. As I saw another user state, the HRRR model doesnt even WORK! The other models do work, but the app does not deliver anything you cant get off of a FREE and PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE website. The app literally just "makes it easier" to get In the simplest terms, this app is essentially a ripoff. A huge disappointment. Dont buy it unless the developer has a huge change in heart.

I Initially thought that the HRRR was still jacked, post-upgrade. On iPhone 4, IOS6, I had to delete and reinstall the app to regain the functionality.

I bought the HRRR package in app. It was not working, saying Data Unavailable. I decided to reinstall the app. After doing so its telling me I now have to re buy the HRRR. Thanks for nothing and taking my money.

This model still doesnt work. Even after the latest update. I paid for it. It will not load after update. Fix it! Or give me my money back! If we have to pay for all these add on forecast models, make sure they work. This app is almost not worth the $10 anymore.

Have to pay for models now? Man.

Still disappointed. Most of the models still dont work months after the issues with the servers. I want my money back.

Most of the links are not working and the description of the maps is not that descriptive for non- weather geeks. Update the app and I will give it 5 stars!

i wrote a HORRIBLE review of this app yesterday, after i had downloaded and used it...i am writing ANOTHER review today...and i APOLOGIZE to the developers of this app...my criticisms of the app were PREMATURE and INACCURATE...i did not realize how to actually utilize the app until i tried using it again today...upon using the app for the 2ND time, i was able to realize and utilize the WEALTH of weather data available...i did NOT realize the the different maps/charts were interactive and that the user COULD get the maps/charts to ANIMATE and illustrate MULTIPLE layers of data analysis...and there is A LOT of data available. so...i was WRONG to write what i did yesterday...i was COMPLETELY OUT of LINE and i am SORRY for it...my review was UNFAIR and was NOT ACCURATE...i had NO right to impugn the INTEGRITY of the app and its developers...and i am SORRY for doing that...this is a GOOD app and it allows for SERIOUS analysis of weather data...my negative review was a product of MY lack of understanding and i made a HUGE MISTAKE by reviewing this app PRIOR to fully UNDERSTANDING how to USE the app...i DID download most of the "in app" purchases and am PLEASED with them...i now have access to ALL of the data analysis this app offers and i am VERY HAPPY with it...just make sure u READ and UNDERSTAND exactly HOW to USE it before passing judgement...i FAILED to do this and i REGRET it...please FORGIVE my IDIACY!

For what it is its a great app the problem I have is the best models are available for in app purchases . These models are available for free on the Internet and after the initial $5 purchase I feel as though they are gouging a bit.

Its a great tool, its missing a readable Euro map. Fantastic tool if all you need is GFS and NAM based models. The high res models are cool, but please update the euro in app purchase to be a legible map and I will update my rating!!

Unless you like apps that make you pay for everything even after buying a 5 frickin dollar app which does not even have comprehensive coverage on stuff you paid for. Yes i thought it was a good app promised the model data all in one place. Turns out it is an app that while does have model data makes you pay for stuff like access to skewt plots. There they dont even have anymore than 6 stations to view for the entire midatlantic area also def donot buy if casual weather person. If i could return this app i would do it in a heartbeat

This app brings together what I previously had to use 3 or 4 apps to access into a stunning and user-friendly interface. Now I can access all the data I need, wherever in the world I am, from one place.

After I updated this program all the models keep saying currently unavailable. Is something being done to fix this issue. Or am I the only one experiencing it. I tried reinstalling and still the same just now I lost the ECMWF & HRRR models (which I paid for) what is going on????

This app is great if you are either a professional meteorologist or a hardcore weather watcher wanting to learn more about the models and methods used for forecasting. If you forecast for a living, this app is a timesaver for preparing your forecasts. View model data anywhere and anytime. The interface is beautiful. They have had some occasional trouble with their interfaces to some NOAA data but theyve always fixed it quickly and provide great support. Ive been happy with this purchase. For less than $10 (with all options bought) I have pretty much everything I need to forecast on my iPhone and iPad. Highly recommended!

GFS does not allow me to go over 120 hours. Also, HRRR models are not working anymore like they were. Please fix this! I love this app

Update: With the exception of the Waves models, all weather models are functioning!! Thanks again to the developers!! Update: While this is an immensely useful weather tool when the NCEP/NOAA servers are functioning. Currently, they are experiencing major difficulties and Weather Geeks functionality is suffering greatly! For now, save your money. A quick resolution to the problem does not appear on the horizon. Thank you to the developers for brining about an incredibly fast resolution to the last update glitch! The current update makes WeatherGeek Pro 2 a must have application for weather enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike. A weather app like no other!! Packed with the ability to easily access all the weather data you could possibly want for a price which cant be beat! It truly is an essential weather application!!
